North Carolina Yellow Cabbage Collard

Chesapeake, VA

Anyone have any seeds for this? My mother from NC used to grow this. Maybe I can trade you some other seeds for it, or SASE, or something. I posted this inquiry in the Seed forum also, but I wanted to ask the Carolina forum, too.

Thanks in advance!

BrightStar, sorry, I've grown Cabbage Collards for years but have never heard of a yellow type. Don't believe I've ever heard of any yellow collard for that matter.

However, you have my interest! If you find some please holler back. Meanwhile, I'll keep my antenna alert for some as well!

Thank you, Deanna. I e-mailed the reporter, and he gave me the contact info, too. I've shared this info with Shoe. I didn't put it in the forum, because even though it is a business, I don't want to post it unless I have their permission.

I can surely understand that Mel!

If they grant permission, I'd sure love to know! I'm always looking for seeds unique to the Carolinas and vicinity.

A collard that tastes like a sweet 'tater! I wonder
how they would grow at my 2000 feet elevation.
I am sure interested in finding seeds.
