As the snow falls gently outside, I'm sitting here with my hot cup of coffee. The tired pups are asleep at my feet after their morning run in the snowy woods. Everyone else in the house still sleeping. Looking at snow, dreaming of sleeping gardens and green things to come....
I wish you all a pleasant and peaceful morning
Tamberlin
Sunday morning
There are some boys - they don't care about the weather.
Supposed to be nice enough to take the dog for a walk today.
The snow has become fine and steady now here too. Not supposed to amount to much, my kinda snow storm. you aren't alone in dreaming of green things to come or the coffee either.
No snow here...yet. The pups look like they had a great time on their walk. Is that one of those glow-in-the dark tennis balls that is in the lead dogs mouth? My dog will not "fetch' it in the dark!! LOL
"Yawn".... 'morning, Sunday (my day for sleeping late) ...nice dogs, looks like they get a lot of exercise! I've had the opposite here, very little snow. This may sound great except that it means we’ve had very little water, same with last summer as well. My watering the plants is great but not as good or heathy as Mother Nature. ☺
DH said we could skip church because of the snow - he went, but we didn't! I'm not afraid of driving in snow, but Becky wanted French Toast, and the Patriots rally was on at 11:00, so . . .
Nice shot of the boys!
I love your boys, Tamberlin! That shot reminded me of the time when we bought some silly leather "shoes" to put on our golden, Cody, when we took him out in the woods, because he always got those snowballs between his pads on his feet. We struck out through the woods to our little log cabin for a cup of hot chocolate there, and when we arrived, Cody no longer had any of the leather shoes on his feet. In the spring when the snow melted, we only found one of the shoes. LOL
Hope you have all enjoyed this lovely Sunday.....no matter what you were doing!
Sue - did you go to the rally or was it on tv?
I watched it on tv too. They had a shot of a camera guy taking a shot of Brady's foot while he was walking to the bus. Funny stuff! No limp by the way. Does any one else miss football on this snowy Sunday? After next weeks big game, then what....withdrawal?
Baseball! Pitchers and catchers in a few weeks.
Yep that will be soon. There is that six weeks or so without football or baseball and with writers strike not exactly great stuff on the tube. I think I heard some where that the opening game for the Sox was in Japan. Big PR deal except the big star from Japan probably will be back here in the states, wife is due at that time, poor planning by some one. How fun is that?
And there will also be games in China.
Finally, I'm back - have to battle the teenagers on weekends to get to the computer!
Pixie - not a "glow in the dark" ball - just a regular tennis ball, but it was dark this morning. I was hoping for a sunrise shot, but I never saw it....
Ben (the lead dog and the puppy) is always swiping the ball from Andrew in order to get a good chase going. They are both quite pooped out now....after yet another walk in the snow!
Ahhh, so cute. If all the humans could learn to relax like dogs and cats seem to be able to do, the world would be a much better place. :)
Awesome dogs!! That picture is too cute!! Love the looks on their faces.....canine heaven!!
Aww, they are beautiful! They look so much like my dogs that hog the couch and I have no where to sit. Umm, yea dogs are great....I think..OK The Dexter dog is right under my feet.(He loooooves me, I call him the wart) Dogs really are cool..at least mine are, and Tamberlin's and Kassia's and Pirl's and Of course, Sarah's keeper and who ever else has a dog that is IT. The best friend that will always give you good advice and shut up when none is needed.
Which one is she? (Hee hee!)
"Buddy" is the green one, Smarty! LOL
BTW, did you all know that the dogs are great dancers when your other half goes to bed. Come on Dex, put your paw in my hand.
OK, it's Sunday evening, and the Cape is getting all the snow this time (plus the usual winter wind, 30-40 mph.) To continue the dog-theme: here is a shot of our small terrier mix, Pepper, when I sent her outside this afternoon to do her business. She made an abrupt left turn and streaked back inside when she felt the snow!
Loved the dog pics - they are so cute!! Eleanor
Emily - you'd better get some of those teeny little leather shoes for Pepper!! LOL

What a good idea, DonnieBrook! "Furrogamo" makes lovely Italian shoes . . but Pepper is somewhat height-challenged, and a double-pair of "Jimmy Chew" stilletos would elevate her nicely. Though "Manolo Barknik" has some particularly nice winter boots . . (I'll stop now.)
Oh, don't stop, Emily!! I was really enjoying your post!! I am having fun picturing Pepper in spike heels in the snow! LOL Jimmy Chew stilletos it should be!!
