Working Therapy Dogs

Do we have anyone here who has trained their dog for therapy work and then actually put that training to work?

I am interested in training my next pup to TDI certification and, provided that it's a good match, I'd like to do some volunteering at local hospices. I'm looking for others who have done something similar and can share their Lessons Learned, provide advice, etc.
