Arcata Marsh re visited.

I've decided to post the pics of this trip in the order that I took them. I've tried to whittle the number down, but still give a feeling for what you can see if you visit this area. I'll be posting in groups with a break between groups.

Snowy Egret (not a Snowy another Great) I was looking at the legs and they looked green like a juenile Snowy but the bill color is wrong.

Nice photos, adelbertcat. Looks like a nice place to see a wide variety of birds.

"Snowy Egret" is another Great Egret (yellow bill), but "Cattle Egret" is a Snowy Egret (black bill with yellow around eyes)!

Yes, that is a Snowy Egret. Snowy Egrets are small in comparison to the Great Egret.
