I'm watching this little Monarch beauty, the first one ever in my yard. Can't get over how much it looks like a jade pendant with gold leaf. Yes, I'm now officially hooked on butterfly gardening!!

Congrats :o) I got my feet wet by raising Monarchs and Queens....they were so plentiful and I was amazed at the delicate beauty of the chrysalis color and those gold markings. Wait until you come across a pale pink or white one!!!

Uh oh, we've snared another one. Pretty soon you'll be talking baby talk to your caterpillars. I also like to admonish them when they misbehave. It certainly does feel good to help out the environment, especially when it comes in such a pretty package!
