Back when I was doing more with the subject of aquacuture this source below was quite helpful to me .

They do not seem to have a internet site but they do have a printed catalog/pamplet . Good source for aquatic plants that feed wildlife such as wild rice , duck potato , wild celery . They also stock native grass seed and cover plant seed . At one time they sold different kinds of turtles , I do not see turtles listed in thier most recent catalog that I have but they do list , snails , cray fish , bull frog tadpoles ( good eating ) , fresh water shrimp , water flea ( daphnia ) . For those looking to create a polyculture self sustaining aquatic environment all the preceding would be building blocks in a food chain that would be necessary to establish/obtain .
Just plugging the words " wildlife nurseries " into search seemed to get a number of similar type of places scattered around the country for more localized items .
