HELLO!

Just getting around to introducing myself. I live in Chattanooga,TN. Have lived here 27 yrs. Originally from Kingston, Tn. My mother was an avid houseplant gardener, I guess I got the 'bug' from her to like plants. I prefer working outside in the soil. DO NOT like cold weather and am anxiously awaiting Spring! Have somewhat of an established small garden. Like foliage plants and shrubs that add color to the garden without having to worry about flowering. I guess I just love gardening and am finally getting to do it after working as an lab tech for 22 yrs. I retired and am really enjoying it along with my husband who is retired also-

Thanks HERBIE43! I was born in New York City at the Presbyterian Hosp. there. My Dad worked on the Manhatten Project and was transferred to Oak Ridge. Thats why Im in Tn.
