I am off.....

tomorrow morning for Sabah (Borneo)...visiting Kota Kinabalu, Nabuan (H. nabuangensis....), Sipitang (H. sipitanguensis)...hunting for hoyas in native habitat...visiting nurseries, eating great food....going to Poring Hot Springs (H. mindorensis has a clone that comes from here)...really excited. Going with Ted Green, his wife Dorothy, and another couple from California. Same group who went to Philippines last year. You can bet I am taking pictures - and sketchbooks with watercolors. Will write up the trip. We had so much fun last trip...this one is going to be great too. We will spend a day in Manilla before flying over to Borneo...visiting nurseries!!!!

Thanks Carol. Been real sick for a month with bronchitis. Everything is OK now. Been lurking on & off, just too sick to care about much. It's a wonder the plants have been surviving, but everything looks fine. Ha. Hardy suckers they are. Wish I was..Ha.
