Sunday, January 27, Mercury goes retrograde until Sunday February 18. Basically means you're swimming against the tide and it's best not to begin anything major. With that in mind, (if you buy it):
WANING MOON
Feb. 1 - 2: harvest onions and cultivate up until 4 p.m. Sat.
3 - morning of 4: GREAT day to prune roses. Fertilize.
5 (afternoon) - 6: harvest, cultivate, destroy
WAXING MOON
7: moon VOC 10 am - 8 pm. Read your seed catalogs.
8 - 9 (until 3 pm): Plant and transplant.
12 - 13: plant and transplant
14 - 15: plant melons
16 (after 9:15 am) - 17 (until 3:15 pm): BEST for planting and transplanting. Also graft and irrigate.
WANING MOON
21 - 22: cultivate, destroy weeds and pests.
ALSO NOTE: There is a total lunar eclipse on the 21st. Should be fun.
February moon stuff, different format
Thank you!!
You're welcome! Is this a friendlier format than the January one? All I've done is give the really best days for things, and there's nothing for letting members figure out, well, I'd like to do this Friday but Tuesday would probably be better. You know?
But if this fills the bill, that's the way I'll do it. Frankly, I like knowing these things but if I have something that will either get planted or die, I'll plant it if the moon is waning, void of course, and smack dab in the middle of Aries. I know that made several of you faint dead away...
Y'all let me know!
Ann
This works for me - it gives me enough to make plans where I can. And I completely understand doing things when you get the chance - there are times when "real life" just doesn't want to cooperate - LOL!
