b.'echinosepala' photo?

North Providence, RI

Hi All,

Does anyone have a photo of this plant when it is in bloom? I have one and love it, but I have never seen what the flowers look like. Also, any suggestions on how to help it flower indoors would be appreciated

Thanks,

Hi Deerchaser. Sorry I do not have this one but I would love to see a photograph of yours. I;ve never even seen this variety. Most of mine are blooming now. I've been a life-long failure with begonias, except for the Beefsteak which I think is fail proof - until I started reading this forum and following everyone's tips. (Thank you all). Bright indirect natural light. I have mine in an east window. And re-pot occasionally.

Hi Cindy,

I wish I could send a photo, but there is something wrong with my camera...cant figure out why I can't download from it.

I got this variety from Logee's and its a can variety that has a bonsai look to it. I have it in a shallow bonsai dish that I purchased from New England Bonsai Gardens. I feed it every time I water and it's quite healthy.

If I figure out how to download a photo, I will send it to you.

Thank you very much Jooolster. The plant doesn't look like much in this photo, but I have mine in a shallow, bonsai style pot and it looks great. It would be fun to see it bloom someday.
