Start Raising Quail

I am interested in starting to raise quail. Does anyone know where I can get plans to build all of my necessary brooders, flight pens and any other information I may need? I have checked numerous websites but have not found anything very useful. I want to raise approximately 500 to 1000 bobwhite quail. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. This is something I would really enjoy doing, but am not sure where to get my information or how to begin.

websites like eggbid.com you can pick up helpful
contact information that way. it's like one thing leads
to another if you know what I mean. If you look at a
seller of eggs in an auction, he may have a website listed
that gives tips.
Also, i got quite a bit of information from the ADM site.
Google 'game bird feed', and look at the Archer Daniels
Midland website to learn a lot about quail, care and feed. They formulate feeds and offer some help, as well as
give a zip code directory on feed dealers near you.
Try just about any university ag site, and they always offer a lot of useful stuff. Good luck.

referenced. This site had more references than any I
have found so far.
I am about where you are in my quest for
information. I am considering raising the coturnix as
well. They appear to have a potential for many purposes,
with quick maturity.
