Using a 'ricer' .. tips and brands

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Hiya

I am wondering if anyone has, or is , in the habit of using a 'ricer' ?

The reason I ask is that I make Irish Potato bread .. and use a ricer to squish the cooked potatoes .. it makes the dough much nicer.
However .. I am thinking that my ricer must be an 'El Cheapo' as it sometimes feels as though it's going to go KAPUT when the squeezing begins.
Too bad there wasn't an ELECTRIC ricer out there .. hmmm .. maybe there is :-)

That's what I wanted to ask .. if you have a ricer .. and it's a 'substantial' ricer .. what's the brand name :-)

Thanks a bunch
