Trading Seed Mixes?

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

This will seem like a dumb idea but here it is.
Everytime I work with my seeds, there's always some loose on the counter.
If I know what they are, I of course will put them in their package. BUT,
lots of time, there's those tiny little seeds, or seeds that look alike, but not sure which is which.
I throw them over in a container and just keep them. Does that happen to anyone else. I thought if you did, we could trade the mixed up seeds. I know we'd have a lot of surprises, but it might be fun. What do you think, be nice now, no telling me I'm crazy or anything.

i think it is an interesting idea because i took lots of different seeds --put them all together and just put them out there--don't know how it will look but it jusst seemed fun--i guess it won't work if you are wanting a lot of germination since some might need to be planted deeper, earlier, etc but still fun

The only time I've really had luck with seeds really growing is that method.Just chunk em out there and they come up all over the place, baby them and they just sit there and look at you!!

so are you going to do your mixed seed swap? it's kind of funny because i read some posts that are very concerned with lables, lots of info etc and then you come along and suggest just throwing them in a bag and seeing what happens!!

I just know that lots of times when I do that in a meadow or something, they are really pretty. Some I moved because it is something that just doesn't go there. But I think It's fun to see what there is. I guess I use it like a little greenhouse and then move the ones I don't want there. There's a couple bushes in there, Ligustrim?
Let me know if you would like some. I know it has morning glories, datura, marigolds, sunflowers, black eyed susan, and lots of tiny seeds that I have no idea what they are, but probably cockscomb or something, and there are som e daisies.

If you have some mixed like that I'd love to have them. If not and you want some of these just send a SASE
