Lights are UP!

South, TX

I wanted to show you all what I did. I put three lights up on one of the baker's racks! I love that they are black so they fit in better than the white.

Now, even though the light is more dim in winter, the violets, etc. will have more light. I used long thin bolts, washers and wing nuts to put them up since the shelfs are all open scroll work. I can do the same on the other baker's rack now. WHEW! It was hard to figure out, but I am hard headed! ha.

That looks great!

Great job! Where did you find the lights with the black coverings? All I've ever seen is white! I have a few of the black wire metal stands and the black lights sure would blend in better!

Just went and looked at the other thread and she said she got them at Lowes. I just bought some, and I didn't see any black ones at the Lowes here, but I was looking at four foot fixtures.

They are black light fixtures. We just changed the bulbs to get the black fixtures! Yes, Lowe's. I love the black too.

Those lights look wonderful on the baker's rack!

FYI - and I haven't tried it - but most aquarium light fixtures are black.
