It is just a regular plastic hanging basket. You can see a little bit of the hook at the top of the picture. My dad usually hangs the plant under the eaves of the house but hung it on the bird feeder hook so I could take the picture. He lives in PA, zone 5b or 6a.

Yes, he brings it inside. He keeps his spider plants in the garage (barely above freezing) but I think he keeps this one in the house.

I would guess that it might get a bit leggy in the house.
