I just purchased this tree (Cryptomeria Japonica Black Dragon Dwarf Japanese Cedar) for our back deck which will be planted in the corner and in the ground. It's stunning and the shape is what we love. In looking at other photos online I can't find one that looks like ours. We live in the coastal community of San Clemente (Southern California- one hr. from Los Angeles and San Diego). I am concerned about the care of the tree and see little tiny pine cones. We have labs..are they poisonous? Thank you.
