Ok JB...I told you I was awesome...I finally got a video of one of my 9 day old embryos last night. The quality is not the greatest...but I am working on a video that is 20 Meg...and this one is only 1 Meg. You get the idea...this is what you would see if you candled your eggs. :)

May have to copy and paste the link, and you need Windows Media Player to watch it.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
Our next round we will have eggs from a hen that lays light cream eggs...and I think those will be much better for getting good video of.
Wonderful video Mel. I can't believe how much movement there is inside the eggs. Have you been putting coffee inside the water dish? LoL.
JB
Hey JB...yeah...they are certainly acting like the have been hitting the caffein. They are so much bigger already today then last night when I took that video. I am really excited to do this with one of our white chicken eggs so we can REALLY see the tiny chick!
that would be so cool to watch. i couldn't get it to work, but tried again after getting broadband, now it says "can't find that page" .-(
I am sorry...my other half was playing with the link! Try this one...it should work.

The video is not phenominal...but you can certainly see the chick moving around inside.
Thats great! (even with dial up)
AWESOME, THANKS!
We need to make a better candler...
bumping this up, how timely to see it again!
How neat. My kids are amazed at how much it moves. Thanks for sharing :)

I forgot all about this video. Oh memories...the chick inside that egg is huge now! They are about 6 weeks old, and moving out to the big coop today.
