Just to keep everyone up to date with Murmur - I spotted this thread. I miss her input, and hope they will both have some better time soon.

Laurie,
Thank you, I just sent a message and a prayer to carol and if I can help in anyway, Dont know how I would handle it if it where mine, almost lost him once.
You just feel so helpless in times like these.

Thanks for posting that link. I am so sorry her husband is doing so badly, though I'm glad Carole has loving family around her to support them through this.

Yes, thanks, Laurie. I didn't know she was posting updates. I think of her several times a day. She has soooo much on her plate right now - it just doesn't seem fair.

I think if we just keep the threads interesting (not hard with this group), we can give her some place to wander through when she needs a bit of respite.

Good idea Laurie! I am taking my camera to the seed sowing event, I will get some pics to post.

Rach - did you take any pictures today? (Did you sneak-take them?)

Laurie- It was crazy, we got so darn busy guess what I forgot to do! Katye, Katie, Susy and I met for lunch and had a wonderful time pawing through the box of seeds from Heidi. Of course we where 1/2 an hour late to the event because we got busy talking pawing and pooring seeds into little baggies! We probably looked like we where packing drugs (well they are drugs to any gardener!) We where outside under a a tarp for the event, we where having a great time planting and chatting away and all of sudden Katie and I got drenched, water from the "roof" poured right on us! But it didn't slow us down! Jim had alot of seeds to offer along with pots, dirt and plant labels. We got to meet dirtdigger and several other folks. A great time was had by all!

ohmigawd! I'd loved to have seen that - watering the sowers as well as the pots - problem is it's as likely that I would have been standing right where it came down! I have to say though, I'm laughing. Sorry, here's a towel.

Sounds like a great day - what did you sow: list and photos when you get a chance. Excellent.

I think we must have pissed of the fairies because the water came out of nowhere! I planted alot of things that I recieved in a recent seed swap. Will list in the morning my eyelids are getting heavy.
