You have just been granted the powers of ________________________________. What are they?
(Assuming you could have any super power of course).
Superhero
It would be nice to have the power to bring peace back to the world and allow people filled with hatred and distrust of other countries, ethnic groups, political groups, religions, etc. to see others in a new light, so that the new-found peace could last and our children and grandchildren wouldn't have to fight in wars.
The power to eliminate hunger and disease, that would be wonderful.
Ohhhhh you BOTH win Miss America! :) Well, I'm thinking for me, world peace would be next to impossible to entertain (that would definately take some superhero powers!) so on a smaller scale, I'd like to be able to be invisible when I want I think.
Could never being sick be a super power? Or could that lead to your body never dying, because I don't want to live here forever, lol.
I have always said that i would like to die of good health some day.
Or maybe just wear out, but not too much, I don't want to lay around being useless, but then, do we ever get what we want? and do we really know what is best? I think not, so we will take it as it comes and with God's help we will make it to our final destination.
Josephine.
I want to go in my sleep. But that's probably asking to much. :)
I would have the ability to change the past....
Woah, that's a GOOD one Mitch. I've never thought of that!
BUT remember the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life," one little change changes all.
That would be nice Mitch, but as long as we learn from it it is o.k.
Just think - no Hitler.. no USSR, so many bad things in history that could be made for the better.
I would want the ability to fly! It would make my commute alot shorter!
And cheaper-no gas!
True... but think about the birds this time of year here...
to have the power to make kids want to stay in school and out of trouble
lol - that would be a good one.
I think that would solve most problems in the world!
i agree Tir, kids are very quick to drop out of school now. i know kids have done this all along, but it just seems more prominant now. wouldn't it be great if there were a magic pill we could give them that would take them into their future to see what it was gonna be like? then maybe more of them wouldn't be so quick to give up! i speak from experience here. my son is 16 and dropping out of school, fortunately for him we are puttinghim into a military program this summer. he must pass and have a job in order to graduate from it.
