Rion 8X16 shipping boxes have arrived

Boy, were we surprised by how many boxes were unloaded from the Fed Ex truck yesterday. There were ten but they seem to be marked really well, including which one holds the instruction manuel. At this point, we are still trying to get a level spot finished on our sloping yard so we aren't even close to opening these yet. My husband called and spoke with the company about some questions he had and one thing they mentioned was that is would take 4-6 people to get the roof on! Supposedly about four people to hold it and then somebody has to go around and pop it into place. Anybody out there live close to Austin?? LOL

I have this same greenhouse. 8X16. My DH and I put it together with help putting the roof on. It wasn't that hard just needed enough people to hold all the corners. I think the hardest part was putting the roof together.
I would help but I live in CA. I just bought an extension for mine, although I have not put it on yet.

I have an 8 X16 Rion also. When you open the boxes there shoud be a list of everything in that box. It's important that you inventory each box. When you're sure all the pieces are accounted for, you can then group them by their numbers. When it's time to put it up, one person can be the "parts Dept. gopher". It took four people to carry the roof, but only took a couple minutes to get it on. It's important that the area be level in all directions. That was not possible in my situation because I wanted it on an old cement cattle pad near our barn. I have problems on the door end with the panels not fitting right because the pad slopes a bit for drainage. Those panels are extra caulked and taped so the wind won't blow them out. It's surprising what an inch difference from one end to the other will cause. Before I taped the panels I had to search neighboring fields to find them after a storm. If you lose a panel, they want $90 with S&H to buy a new one. I live way out in the boonies. You may not have the wind problems I have. All in all, I love my GH (panel chasing and all.) LindaCA, let me know how attaching the extension goes. it looks like a real pain. I need to get one.
