While playing in the gh today I took a few pics. First up is one from barry called "Texas Aggie"
A few blooms for today 1-8-08
Lavender Lady almost looks like a capitalio
Hi AuntAnne,
Your Right. This is one that never blooms the same for me. They are always nice but usually shaped differently.
Where did you get her?
I got this from David about a year ago.
Robert
David?
He had a touch of the tropics
I'll send you a D-mail
Robert, that is so nice of you to share such beauty. You have a wonderful collection there; I'll be the ladies in that beauty shop really enjoyed seeing them.
Anne, David owned A Touch of the Tropics nursery but sadly he closed the business a month or so ago. He will certainly be missed, his plants were awesome.
Hi Robert, oops we were cross posting. :-)
Hi Ardesia,
You are right. Out of all of the internet stores I bought from before I went into business for myself, he was by far hands down "THE BEST" but thats just an opinion. His feedback in the garden watchdog speaks for him as well.
Robert
Anne--If you want Lavender Lady, I see it on Robert's website so you could always order it from him :-) www.hypnoticblooms.com
Oh go away Robert. I already added another today to my order and Texas Aggie is screaming my name.
KELLEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
BUY ME! LOL
Oh go ahead, you know you have to have it. ;-)))
........and Texas Aggie is drop dead gorgeous.
Kell, the neighbors are going to start talking about you and the postman. He will be bringing a lot of parcels your way.
Hi Kell,
Unfortunately I will not have some that I post on the site :-( I am an avid collector at heart and some are just not available, they are just part of my collection, saying this If at all possible I would love to start to clone my collection for others to enjoy but my hands are full right now! However I do know exactly what some of my customers want and if I see something for sale (be it at a show, home depot or even a nursery) I will get it with them in mind. Now who else would do that ;-) LOL. I am starting to hybridizing and when I get keepers I will have my own creations and hopefully they will be as beautiful as many of the experts doing this today. In the mean time I will do my best to get the beauties to you and everyone else, that are available to me.
Robert
Beautiful blooms today, Robert!!! My picks are Texas Aggie and Lavendar Lady. I bet your mom's beauty shop was looking spectacular today!
Oh, I've got a pretty one to share finally- it's from a couple days ago though. We've had just a ton of rain the last few days, and I caught this one as I was bringing everything inside since it's been so super cold (well, for here at least...).
Here's a pretty Moonstruck.
That is pretty, and it looks like it is saying thank you for rescuing me.
Nice blooms, Robert. I love the Texas Aggie and Exotic Lavender Lady...expecially the color of them.
Thanks Karen and Brugie,
Karen, Moonstruck is very pretty. I am glad to see that you were able to get a pic before the weather took it.
I am so glad, Robert. I am broke. LOL
I love all your pictures!
OMG on the Texas Aggie. Remarkable! Stunning!!!! Am I one of those customers, lol! 30 more days till income tax refund. Yaaaay. More hibs!
Karen,
Moonstruck is beautiful. I picked one for my mother tonight (who is now living with me), so she could enjoy it.
We have started a new routine, Mom goes out on the patio every morning and tells me which one we are putting in the mini vase for the day. I'm glad to be able to see her smile over the garden.

Cat, that's so awesome about your mom - what a gift the flowers are to both of you :-)
Oh my Mom loved flowers too. You will always remember these days.
