Almost missed these

It's dark when I go to work, and dark when I get home. Could easily have missed these if I hadn't decided to go outside in the rain today. On my way to the greenhouse I caught these nice surprises.

1st Daydreams has a couple blooms even though she's way in the back where it's dark. She should be going dormant.

Tiara turned all creamy - almost yellow in the cold rainy weather.

The bugs certainly haven't gone dormant. LOL Adeline.

It's getting pretty dark, but you can see the outline of the blooms Painted Lady is starting to put out.

What a wonderful surprise. I paid big time for Day Dreams and lost it before it bloomed so it is good to see how pretty yours is. I also just lost Tiara A very sweet lady gave it to me so I really hated to loose it. I did not kill Painted Lady I think that would have been to much. I think I would have just grown to growing wildflowers this year.

OMG Mary, are you not the lucky one, the Tiara flush and color looks absolutely stunning i think i will give mine a stay of execution, but you are absolutely right those Bugs are a hardy Bunch, i hope the two Nights of freezes we had here in Florida killed some of those Critters

You are so lucky, They are just beautiful. Not only do you have beautiful doubles... They are blooming. My poor singles are just sticks. Oh to live in a warmer climate.
I think I must get me a hot tub...ah, that is a great idea. Then my plants can be warm through the winter, rather than shivering out in the garage.

Painted Lady. The shade area may be ugly, but so far it's protected them from any frost damage.
