Love the twisting petals on this marigold. Thanks for sharing it. By the way, when I saw your photos, I noticed that the houses looked like those in San Antonio. Then, I checked and sure enough they are in San Anonio. Do you live in NW S. A.?

Thanks, htop. No, although we're thinking of that side in a year when our current lease expires. Right now we're off of 78, between Kirby & Converse on the NE side. Which part of San Antonio are you in?

See, and THAT's one reason we'd move to that side of town . . . we went to Sea World 3 times in December alone!

I love it too. Its about 7 minutes from my house. The plants there are so lovely. I had always wondered how they kept the annual plants always looking so great even in August. One day, I saw about a bunch of employees going around pulling up the plants that looked a bit scraggly and replacing them with ones that were exactly the same size and at the same blooming stage. I also noticed later that there is what appears to be a large greenhouse on the premises. I suppose they keep "extras" there. I wonder if Sea World starts its own plants in the greenhouse.

Oh, wouln't that be nice? I'd LOVE to work in a Sea World greenhouse! Hmm, couldn't hurt to check . . . for when I do live on that side of town!
