Does anyone know of a good source for Acalypha wilkesiana "Copper Leaf", "Beaf Steak Plant", etc and it's wide array of coloured leaf cultivars in Canada, or willing to export to Canada? Kartuz Greenhouses has them but they don't export http://www.kartuz.com/c/7RFPB/Acalypha.html. Thanks!

lol. Thanks Soferdig. I might be heading to Seattle myself this weekend. I might even find some of these at the Flower & Garden Show in Seattle in February. I've occasionally seen Acalypha in shops but not some of the newer cultivars. Importing has gotten a bit difficult - I'm tempted to try again.
Did you ever find any Copperleaf ? There is a nursery not far from here that had it this year, nice plants in six inch pots, if memory serves, less than $10. If you are still looking, I could check and see if they have any left, work out a deal to ship it to you. To the best of my knowledge, they don't ship out of province. I'm in Mississauga, Ontario, just outside Toronto. Let me know, ok ?
