Dogs Vs. Furniture

My dogs (boston terrors)are driving me NUTS! I bought a new couch and loveseat less than 2 yrs ago because they had chewed up the old furniture so bad. I waited and watched for chewing to stop before I bought the new furniture and thought we had gotten thur the chewing stage. I have 2 older dogs,the parents 4-5 or 5-6 yrs old( this pair came to us at about 2 or 3 yrs old) and 2 puppies from their first and last litter 21/2 yrs old now.All have been fixed. Well,they started the darn chewing again and have made a mess out of all the pillow corners. I thought about putting diluted hot sauce on the corners but we lay on the pillows watching tv and might get it in our eyes. I can't get rid of the pillows because they are the cushions for the back of the couch. HELP before they eat the furnture right out from under us. I'm tired of patching up the pillows!

They're not bored because someone is almost always home,we play with them,pet them,talk to them and they have a fenced area just out the back door so they can go out and still be safe. Other than an old sock w/ a knot tied in it,they don't care for doggie toys and ignored all I've brought home for them. They have a doggy diner full of food and fresh water at all times.
