Kell's Seedlings

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

here are some seedling from Kell's crosses I grew out last year. They bloomed all this summer and are beginning to put on a show again now. I am very pleased at the strong pink winter color they are showing. My Inca Sun started blooming white with a hint of orange with the cooler temps

forgot to say this is Susanne x Ruthie first day bloom

I got 2 emails telling me to come look and I am glad I did. LOL. So beautiful Donna esp in the middle of this huge storm we are having. So PINK!! Thanks so much for growing these out for me. You are always such a doll.

Susanne and Ruthie are both huge girls so I am not surprised the blooms are. Ruthie had been as super brug for me. She grows to be a huge tree and blooms and blooms.

I can't wait to see them in my own yard. I need a bit more PINK. LOL

Thank you all for your compliments but mother nature does it all!!

Donna and Kell, you both have done a great job. Donna, I know from growing out about 100 seedling for others the last two years that it is a big job taking care of some ones else's plant. I worry and spend a lot more time with them then I do my own. If I tell you I will grow it then I feel responsible for doing the best I can.

Hi Joan! So good to see you again. Hope you are feeling great these days!!

LOL Donna. You are so professional. I am impressed. It will be so intersting to see the summer color of these. I hope they get summer so PINK.

You are so lucky to have such colorful blooms in winter. Here I had some a few weeks ago but they were almost white though they were pink brugs.

Thanks you again for being so nice to these, Donna. As Joan said, it is a lot of work growing out other people's seeds. And thank you all for your kind words.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

These turned out to be beauties, so many times you grow them for more than a year and they are WHITE! grrrr..........

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I am really impressed by all the S x R cross flowers being so uniquely different and all almost the same darkness

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Both Susanne and Red were Susie crosses. And their parents were all pink. I should ask her if she even grows any brugs anymore. She hasn't mentioned them for ages.

Susanne is a huge flowered brug but Red was not. And Red had great color but her form was not to my liking.

Most people would think they all look alike but we can spot the differences a mile away, can't we? LOL, the 3 of us, Gloria, Donna and me are all old brug addicts. LOL. My husband could never understand why I needed more than one, they all looked alike to him. Still do. Actually as I look up thru the thread, a lot of old brug growers are here. We all have seen so many. Remember when all we would see would be white? We used to say ADW. LOL So many pretty ones now.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Ada got a nice dbl pink from your Ext Dbl White cross. Have big Y's on mine but no blooms so far
