Looking for Maryland Senna

Hardin, KY(Zone 6b)

I am on a mision for senna seeds. Does anyone have any saved? I have seeds to trade or will send SASE.
I had this plant when we lived in WI 5a ~ got it at a plant swap. It self-seeded ALL over but I did not have luck starting it from seed in KY.
Any help would be appreciated!

Does that look like Senna marilandica to you?

Hardin, KY(Zone 6b)

It does a bit and yes, I did see this thread ~ that's what got me reminiscing about getting some senna again. From the photo on the link, it's hard to tell without the pinnate foliage. My plants were bushier with more activity all up the main stem.
Maybe what I had in WI wasn't Maryland Senna. It sure was hardy in Z5a. I would love to try some other varieties, but they aren't hardy below Z8.
Thanks for the link ~ maybe the poster has seeds!

I have some Senna Marylandica from a commercial source. I grew some last year with excellent results. The trick is to scarify gently then soak overnight before planting.

Do you have a trade list?

Hi Bev! Thanks for all this cold weather you're sending our way!!
Since I am new, my trade list consists of one "want" ~ the senna. Now that you have prompted me a bit, I guess I should run out to the barn (but gosh, it's cold!!) and see what I have to trade and then add it to my list. Then you can check and see if there's anything you want.
I will do it today!
