January 1, 2008 has brought a winter storm to our region. Low temps for the next few nights around -12ºC to -16ºC. The forecast high for next Sunday is 8ºC - go figure :-)

Happy New Year! It's snowing here too. Nothing to do but stay home and search the Web, looking for nurseries that have posted their 2008 catalogs. I have already sent off my Beaver Creek Greenhouses spring plant order. Who else has begun ordering?

I've been sitting on my hands to keep from ordering too soon. My two favourite companies have yet to post their entire catalogue for spring 2008.

Have already ordered and received so many seeds that I look at some of the packets, and go "hmmm, now why exactly did I order that one..." LOL. And am ashamed to admit I still have a list of seeds I think I need (want) to order....

Happy New Year Donna and everyone!
Happy new year everyone! I have ordered many seeds but I am still looking....I bought 2 55 liter bags of potting mix today and I have my violin students bringing me their milk cartons already!
