Hello everyone! :*)

I stumbled onto this website while looking up a plant and I have to say......I think its an addiction! I seem to end up here the first thing in the morning and the last thing at night...always jotting down on a scrap paper something else that I need to look up!

I like to garden and so far am just a "cottage gardener".
You know....well...I think I will try a few of these and a few of those...and one day hope to get it all together.

I think this site is awesome!

Hello Kat I guess you can say I am new here at DG I have been seeing how much fun every has been having so I think I had better join in I am another Texan living in the NE corner at Tyler Texas Have a small chigger ranch at a small town of Arp about 15 miles east of here raise chiggers fire ants and any thing else that bites,scratches or stings "Eyes" I know I can trade you some fire ants and I will even pay postage DG is a great place to meet a lot of nice people Have a great day Tiger

Arptiger - excuse me for being a numbskull... but what's a chigger? I guess it's too cold for them in the north.

Tiger, glad to meet you! But, you can keep all them old fire ants.

Poppysue, chiggers are little, tiny red bugs that burrow their heads into the skin like a tick. Their bites will drive you insane, and they are worse around the clothing edges.
