Buffalo Chicken dip

Cleveland Hts, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm going to a NYE party tonight which made me think of this recipe that been going around my part of town lately. Really good and really easy.

2 cans chunk chicken (or 2 cups cooked shredded chicken)
2 packages cream cheese, softened (I actually usually use the reduced fat nuefatchal kind)
1 cup ranch dressing (yep salad dressing)
3/4 cup hot sauce - whatever kind you like. I use red devil cuz I like the slight vinager bite but the original recipe said Franks Red Hot. You can also add a little more too make it more spicy.
1 1/2 cups shredded chedder cheese
Heat chicken with hot sauce until hot. Stir in ranch dressing and cream cheese until well blended. Add half the chedder cheese and stir in. Place in a slow cooker and top with remaining chedder cheese. Cook on low until hot and bubbly. I've also placed in a dutch oven and heating in oven @ 325 degrees for about 30 minutes until bubbly.

I serve with celery sticks and tortilla chips. Very yummy-- tastes just like buffalo chicken wings.
