I have 10 pink perfection lily bulbs I received from B&B in mid December. Should I plant them now, or try to keep them moistish and plant in March.
Thanks!
Lily bulbs I have now
If your ground is workable, I'd go ahead and plant them. I have received them after the ground was frozen and stored them in very slightly moist peat moss in the fridg with no problems. If you're storing bulbs in the fridg, be sure there is no fruit in there with them; the ethylene gas they give off can promote sprouting.
Thanks. The ground is as workable as always, except for being wet right now.
I don't know that our ground ever "freezes" here in Atlanta.
I thought that I could pretty much plant them anytime and they would have a better chance of making it than me trying to keep them from drying out AND keep them from rotting. while storing them a few months.
Thanks for your always appreciated help!
