Got a new book

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

today from Amazon and I am very impressed with it. National Wildlife Federation Field Guide to Insects and Spiders of North America.

It has excellent photo's and a very nice section on Butterflies and Moths. Shows the caterpillars too. Only draw back is it doesn't have a great deal of info on them but I guess that is because the books covers so many insects it doesn't allow for in depth detail of each one. It is worth adding to your collection

Also got Kaufman Field Guide to Insects of North America. I am not real impressed with it but then I have never been real impressed by any of his books. In this one the info in not in great detail either and it is all thrown together. Would not have purchased it if I had seen it in a book store and been able to thumb through it.
