Chiritas Anyone?

Irving, TX

I have already talked to Gail about a trade in the spring for Chirtas but was curious if anyone else out there would be interested in trading Achimenes corms for Chirita plants or even leaves for that matter. Especially I am looking for Chirita Sinensis or any other Chirita with dark green foliage. Anyone intersted in a trade? I will also have some 5 or six varigated AVs to trade leaves from.

There will be 5 different colors of Achimenes. I was thinking of trading two of each color with a total of 10 corms per trade.

I could trade leaves of "Betty" and Diane Marie" for some if you are interested. Lou

Definitely interested. They are both beautiful. Send me a D-mail with you address and I will get the corms on the way to you early next week. You can wait to send the leaves later when it warms up.

Begoniadude,
let me make a quick list of chirita leaves I have.......don't want to miss out on the corms (lol).........nothing 'greedy' about me! (lol)
Here are the ones I know I have:
Dream Time
Stardust (baby plants)
Nakako
Silver Surfer
Sinensis
Kitiguni (leaves stuck that you may have)
Aiko (baby plants)

I am going to show you pics of ones I have lost the names to, but i am positive that one is seninsis because I remember her when she bloomed and i bought her in Corpus Christi...........if anyone can identify these please help us......thanks

Aw shucks, i was hoping someone would do my dirty work and look them up! I will find a good reference page and get a name for these.

Well Gail, you know I can't help you with any names... But I can tell you that the one with the pointiest leaves is sure pretty- so pretty wouldn't even matter if it bloomed!

My friend Betty and I are going to clean up , go eat and spend the afternoon cleaning up my shelves and throwing away ugly plants. Tomorrow I can start taking the chirita leaves off to send to people. That pointed leaf is a pretty one isn't she?

I will send both you, begoniadude and Susan 51 leaves from all of them..........as I promised before Christmas and then lied and didn't do it!
