Somewhere in my search for eggs recently I read about a not very well known chicken that lays pink eggs. Its an older breed and not the americuana kind maybe egyptian or english???
What is the chicken that lays smallish pink eggs??
LoraK, I've read a few threads at other "chicken forums" where individuals wrote of certain AmeraucanaX pullets that were reputed to lay pink eggs. It is total fiction. The individuals who wrote of it were "poultry newbies" and were exaggerating the color of pale brown and calling it pink. If there really was a common chicken breed that laid PINK colored eggs .... everyone (including yourself) would be aware of the breed of chicken and you'd not need help in identifying the "common or old breed" by making a post here. We've all heard or read the saying "if it sounds too good to be true.......then it probably isn't". Anyway.... Happy New Year to you from me!
no not pink pink a pale pink egg and it was not from a forum, the chicken caught my eye and I read its description and read small (ish) pale pink eggs. I will start from where I started last time and maybe I can hit it again
