SOLVED....WITH SUGGESTIONS OF SEVERAL SOLVENTS....HEHE

I bought some cute little crystal water glasses at TJ Maxx around August. I was busy, so stuck them in my china cabinet (labels and all) until a time when I could clean them. Well, I got them out during the holidays and soaked them in sudsy water. The paper part of the price tag EASILY came off, but left a very sticky residue. I got out my trusty Goo Gone and THOUGHT I had it solved, but there are smears of sticky stuff everywhere!! I've tried straight dish detergent, and nothing works!! I don't want to put them in the dishwasher as they are nice crystal and I have hard water. Any suggestions?
