Nieuwegein, Netherlands(Zone 8a)

I've been looking for these for quite a while.

Thanks in advance!

I have Lady Baltimore, but the only seeds I saved went to Theresa's recent seed swap, I think. There weren't a lot of them.

I should have more next fall. I have Plum Crazy hibiscus, too. Nope, I didn't save seeds on that one, either.

where would you find a seed on the Hibuscus?

I have to bring mine in for the winter and currently it has tons of buds.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Seeds will set after the flower falls of so to speak. The Lord and Lady are hardy Hibs to zone 5. If you are bringing yours in they might be tropical. If you have names for them try to google them and check.

Ahhhh, mine is the typical red flowered tropical one. I was talking to MIL today about how, if I knew that is was tropical, i would have tried to talk DH out of buying it. [since i am the one who takes care of it] I do not know the name of it though.

Hi Brightstar,

Thanks for your offer for next fall. I did have your Lady Baltimore seeds on my wish list on Thersa's seed swap. Unfortunately I didn't get them.

Here's a pic from both Lord and Lady Baltimore. I just loved to have them both, oh well, perhaps next year!

Look up Plum Crazy. You might like it, too.

I like the plum and the Lord myself. I would like to find some of them.

I currently have 3 blooms on it... i should snap a photo.

on one site, it had the "red" is hardy to zone 5... so technically, i could leave mine out ....
I wish I'd saved the plant card that came with it.

I posted in the Hibiscus forum and found mine is a Celia, Double Red

and according to the info -- it's sterile ... probably why i never saw seeds.
Oh also only hardy to zone 7

Too bad, she is beautiful. But you can do cuttings, just have to remember to bring it inside.

Hi to all, when you talk about Hibiscus Lord and Lady Baltimore, what kind of Hibiscus are you talk about, a specie, is it "moscheutos" which have round.
I have a lot of moscheutos-seed I have bought this winter. To Southern Belle, Gianthibiscus and and and ...
Also seeds to different syriacus.

Nieuwegein, Netherlands(Zone 8a)

Hi Sylvia,

The Lord and Lady Baltimore are varieties of Hibiscus moscheutos.
I'm very interested in Hibiscus seeds and would love to know if you have any for trade?

Ana
