First off, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah to all.
I want to take a moment to thank all who have made my garden, and my time at home everyday, a miracle to behold. In doing this, I will put in parenthesis, the name of each person who made my dreams come true.
You may see two of the same variety, because in some cases, I purchased 2 or 3 of the same flower. Not necessarily from the same person.

Merry Hibismas!
Since the new Hibiscus season is upon us, I will continue to name the flower along with the person responsible for making my dreams come true, through the New Year.
Robert's site is www.hypnoticblooms.com
Charles and Cindy's site is www.exotic-hibiscus.com
Matt's site is www.hibiscusplace.com
Although David Franzman no longer sells hibiscus, I want him to know how special he made my 2007. He was the second "breeder" I ever purchased from, and the first one with beautiful, healthy and heavenly hibiscus bushes.
Happy Holidays to all. And to all, a good night :)
Cat
Merry Christmas Cat. Your pictures are beautiful and without the breeders, we would not have such gorgeous hibiscus to grow and share pictures of. Keep up the good work....all of you.
Merry Christmas Cat! I'm with you on thanking all our favorite hibiscus sellers! Without them I'd have a lot more money, but a lot less fun!
I didn't know that H. andersonii was also called Fire & Ice. Hhmm....
I agree with you ecrane3, more hibiscus and less $$ ain't a bad thing!
Barb
OK, I feel like a ninny.
I always thought andersonii was a different species than rosa-sinensis. So Fire & Ice and Andersonii are.....The same cultivar? Similar cultivars??
Need to know!!! ;)
Barb
'Andersonii' is one cultivar of H. rosa-sinensis and 'Fire-n-Ice' is another one. 'Andersonii' sounds Latin but it's a cultivar name not a species.
