We purchased a Westinghouse digital picture frame a couple of weeks ago at Best Buy. 14.1 inch screen. I couldn't get the "menu" screen to come up to "tell it" that I had a jump drive in it. What was dumb was I got that menu screen to come up when I first took the frame out of the box. Well, no matter what I did, I couldn't get the menu screen to come up. The instruction booklet is pretty vague, might as well have saved the paper because I found it pretty useless.
Yesterday I took it back to Best Buy and cornered a "Geek", told him what my problem was. Actually, the biggest problem (at the time) was there was some "stuff" on the jump drive that was not allowing the frame to "play" the photos. He deleted those, and the pix showed on the frame. He said that in order to get to the menu screen you had to push the "exit" button, then the "back" button till you ended up at the proper place. Ok, fine...............NOT FINE.............today I went to play the photos and I still cannot get that stupid menu page to come up. Is there some special touch that it takes to "exit" and "back"????? Do I need a bigger hammer???? LOL I really like the frame, and I KNOW it works, because I saw Mr. Geek do it. I didn't think I was that mentally challenged; obviously I am. Perhaps my 4 1/2 year old grandson could help????
Seriously, any suggestions on the proper way to push the buttons would be GREATLY appreciated. TIA.............
