I have moved all of my tender potted ones into my makeshift greenhouse for the winter. As I was moving I realized that 2 of my little brugs had set buds. I'm not sure which ones they are. In transplanting the tag got misplaced. Anyway, they survived the 30 deg. that it got last weekend but it's going to do it again tomorrow night. I told son (I'm out of town) to move the budded ones into the house. I don't know if that was a good idea or not. I have lamps in there (plain ones) it keeps them above 32, but not by much. I really want to see the blooms. Did I do right or should I just tell him to leave them in the greenhouse and hope that the lamps work?

What do I do?
You have lamps in the GH to keep it from going under 32 degrees? If so.. and if it were me, I'd leave em alone. They can survive a night or so at 32 degrees.. but not for extended times... and if they are being protected by the GH..I'd think they would be okay... that's just my zone 9 call though.. someone else may chime in with more knowledge.
I would think you have a greater chance of loosing buds if you bring them in the house.. especially if the buds are small.
Some are small, they're at least a month away from opening. Do you think that the movement is the danger or the change in atmosphere/temperature?

I would think the dry air in most homes and the lack lower light levels would be more harmful. If the weather predictions hold true, at least for this part of central Texas, it may not get that cold. The revised forecast since the beginning of the week has been for a warmer night.
