Thanks so much Lin! Beautiful pic too!
Is that Hoya one of the carnosas? Looks like I see some variegation on a side shoot. Maybe exotica? And what's that on the far left? OK enough with the questions....
Thanks again!

LOL Diane ... I'm not sure which one it is ... probably carnosa. I just call it one of my hoya's with no ID. To the left is a lipstick plant.

I just got back from running to Home Depot with hubby and bought two new hoyas! One labeled kentiana and the other labeled fish tail. Will post the pic's in a few minutes.

Yea!!!! New plants! Makes me want to tell my hubby after my b-day lunch, he's taking me to HD! I have the fishtail Hoya-polyneura one but it hasen't bloomed for me yet.

I'll wish you Happy Birthday here too Diane!!
Happy Happy Birthday :)

My fishtail is in the ICU right now :( I don't think it's going to make it. We NEVER get those in the stores up here and I paid WAAAY too much for a few barely rooted stems and they just are not going to make it I think :(

Can't wait to see yours Lin, it's one of my favorites :)

The two I just purchased from HD today were mislabeled & mispriced! The label's said 6.6 snow flake box $16.99. They were supposed to be 6.6 angel basket $7.99! I happened to see a lady watering plants and asked if she could help me. I showed her that most of them were mislabeled and mis priced. She said she didn't work at HD but was the VENDOR and they apparently shipped them in labeled incorrectly! So, she went and found a HD employee, took me to the register and had them ring them up correctly and she was re doing every label on all those plants that were wrong! Wonder how many they sold of those little small baskets at $16.99?

Oh, here's the two I just got a little while ago. I haven't done any grooming yet and they are very, very wet! Need to repot them quickly (later today) before they rot.

Beautiful new plants Lin! Too wet? At least they did get water which is usually the problem with our HD! But over-watering is worse than under-watering..
I just got back from my fave HD and they had NOTHING! They're doing some re-modeling or something. Have to try the other one if I can sweet talk hubby into it!

OMG Lin.........I NEED a fishtail like that *lol* It's BEAUTIFUL! OMG if you could see mine *lol* Pathetic I tell ya....it truly is in the ICU and I'm not sure even a liquid drip could save it at this point. Isn't it always the way....the ones you REALLY want to grow.........don't :(

GREAT score! She's beautiful!

How was your day Diane? Was it a WONDERFUL birthday? Sure hope it was glorious :)

Kim, I hope I can keep this one alive! I have heard the polyneura is a bit difficult. I repotted it this evening and I couldn't believe how soggy the soil was. I squeezed and squeezed and it was like a hose pouring water out of all that soil. I use orchid bark mix, along with perlite in the soil for the hoyas. I will repot again in the spring if I can keep it alive that long!
