All my cheesies are packed away. But I would love to get my hands on some of those flamingos. I just found out my DDIL's Mom collects them. This is going to make gift giving soooooooooooo much more interesting........LOL

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

Oh, let me know where she found some of them! It will be entertaining!

Here's a cutie with another life preserver.......I don't know what is up with the life preservers

Did I mention I love pigs too! It doesn't get any cuter than a pig in a boa lol

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

I'd trade a frog for that pig any day. That's a cool pig.

Here's my old kitty....'Tommy'....he's not with us anymore but we celebrate him every year.

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

.....back away form the pig! heehee

I have an ornament with Sylvester's pic in it and he is no longer with us, it makes me sad every year when I pull it out but just can't get rid of it.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm the same way. That one always makes my eyes well up.

Now, fork over that pig!

Trade ya for a pickle?

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

I gotta tell ya Kristi....that pickle is cheesy! And the pizza....all you ned is some cheesy cheese LOL

I've never really noticed food ornaments, this is a first, do you have any others?

The reindeer in cowboy attire are always a winner in Texas.

Love the reindeer! You have some good ones!

No more food ornaments...the pickle is an old German tradition....the pizza is a Nolan tradition.

I'm not asking for the pig.....I'm pulling a Tony Soprano....give up da pig or it won't be priddy. Get my drift?

I know where you can get $72 worth of white feather boas in exchange for dat pig! LOL!

I guess I should elaborate for everyone else we HOPE will be contributing! I got a wild hair and decided to do a different type of garland this year. Year after year I have strung cranberries and popcorn. So, I bought $72 worth of white feather boas to use instead. I wasn't thinking about my multi-colored lights and how it would look. I took all the tags off, got them up there and it looked like cocka. It would be great with all blue lights and all silver and blue ornaments. Well, next year, maybe.

Here's my "Butterfly, Sugar, Baby" ....do you know that song?

Thumbnail by knolan
The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

Here's my Godfather.......'if anything happens to the pig...the pickle gets it'!

Love the boa story...haha...that's a lot of boas!

I don't know that song...sing a line or 2.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

I'd better not...it's a seven year old rap song with some risque lyrics. Now, don;t everyone go and get the wrong idea but my DH and I met in the butterfly museum, here in Houston and that song was popular that year so we used it as our wedding song....it was funny, not serious.

Rox - I'll dmail you the song. Don;t want to get in trouble here.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

So, you're throwin' out da big guns, huh? I want dat pig....I'm sending my goons. Meet Guido, the toilet paper nutcracker.....I'd be scared.

I love the idea of white feathers!!! Way cool, you clever, clever girl. I'd post animal cutie porcelain ornaments I chalked, but unfortunately they are packed in the attic and the DH will get er, difficult,,,,,,,,,,,ya dig. Btw I do remember that song..........big :)!

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

Doccat, I'm so glad someone else knows the song. You da man! Heehee.

I dig....but we want to see them next year for sure!

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

4 years ago I sorted thru ALL my Christmas stuff and weeded it down to basically two themes and color, pink or white, Angels and birds, it's beautiful but BORING compared to you ladies!!!

I admit it, I love the pig and I would take it in a heartbeat! She would fit nicely with my pink & white, don't ya think? However, I'm not looking for cement overshoes or broken legs so I know better than think I can get the pig. You gals play too rough for me! LOL

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7b)

Thankee, but I am the Gal! LOL

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

I knew you were a gal! Just a figure of speech. LOL.

I'm up really late baking so I thought I'd say.......

how's da pig doin'?

Yes, psych - the pig would look great in pink and white. I think we all need that pig! Show us a pic of your tree, pretty please? I love the themed trees.....just haven't been able to break away from the hodge podge.

Oh, I got off track. Dat pig is gonna be hangin' on my tree next year. Even if I have to bribe Fly wid a new variety of a 'Nun's Orchid' dat I'll probly find priddy soon. Gotta talk to my people first, ya know?

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

I can see I'm going to have to put 24-7 surveillance on da pig!

Psych and Doc...please show us your trees...I love to look at others decorated trees, it's just fun!

Someday I'd love to do a themed tree, but would have to get another tree....I wouldn't be able to leave my faves in a box, couldn't do it.

Doc...what's chalking?

DFW area, TX(Zone 7b)

Hi, MsFly - I LOVE your whimsical ornaments !
You've got such a great sense of humor and I will
confess - I'm partial to flamingos too. I've got 2 here
that need to go in the garden, but I haven't found which
box I had them packed in.

Keep a very very close eye on the pig ! Have you
installed a security camera yet, or a motion detector ?
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

Hi Mahnot......whimsical..haha....sounds better than cheesy!

I heard those yard flamingos aren't made any more! What a shame! A distant neighbor had about 10 little ones, maybe 8" tall surrounding a baby shower sign.....so cute!

Guess I need to check into a security camera for the pig....you just never know what some are willing to do!

I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas too!
