L'amour x Mountain Magic - Liz Fichl

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

I was lucky enough to be the seedling parent of this one. She has pretty little blooms. From the top of the calylx to the tip of the corolla she measures about 9 inches with a span of 5 inches across the face. Nice fragrance too. This one is a nice stocky, short standard. The shape and size of the tree lend itself very well to a patio plant. She was not bothered by bugs this summer and was grown in full sun. A definite keeper in my opinion. Personally I think we need a few more good compact shaped cultivars. Living here in south florida there are so many condo owners who only have balconies as growing areas. The shape and growth habit of brug like this one are perfect for that type of situation.

Thank you X
It is wonderful the way you describe your Brugs and how they behave.
For me a newbie this is very helpful.
I like your fur flower also. :*)

So rude of me..

Congratulations Gary & Liz! She is beautiful.... I'm all for the smaller brugs.

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

congrats!!! I love the smaller brugs also!!!

It sounds like a great patio plant, nice and compact.Wouldn't it be nice to have several in pots surrounding a patio or deck?
I like the coloring of the flower a lot, very rich looking.I bet these would do good planted in a garden.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cute little blooms. Congrats!!

The blooms have matured to nice dark color. No surprise to me because the MM and L'amour genes favor a nice rich coloration

She's small and sassy....!

North West, OH(Zone 5b)

Beautiful! Having to drag all my tenders in for the winter the smaller size is definitely a plus.

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

I think that's what Liz has in mind as she hybridizes for the smaller cultivars. You can bring the entire plant indoors for the winter without having to add a new addition onto your home!!

Hi guys!
She's going to be registered today.
New name: Lapin Rose Doux - (Sweet Pink Rabbit).

Fantastic bunny, She is the perfect size for me, Not just because of our zone but because of my back and having to carry everything in for winter. Congrats on a beauty. I love the fur ball too.
