I'm sure that's what this is but want to verify before I share this in the spring. Was sold to me as (are you sitting down?) x. sagittifolium which even as a tiny plant I could see it had tiny markings.

Certainly looks like X. jacquinii 'lineatum' to me!

Those flaps are typical of genetically distorted leaves, of which this plant is an example. The "mickey mouse" Xanthosoma is another example. I've seen somewhat similar phenomena on one or two seedlings of my hybrid progeny. From a technical standpoint, it is a manifestation of an aberrant differentiation in the cell layers in the leaf tissue. From a horticultural standpoint, it is an interesting curiosity.
