...that I needed a warm place -in the house - to keep my hoyas this winter. I think the bribery is self-explanatory.

How I convinced DH...
Wow! What a beautiful room! I could probably put up with a pool table for that! Your plants are so gorgeous and organized. Floor is beautiful too.
Very, Very nice! The display of your plants is lovely! hmmm ... I bet your hubby will be worried that his pool table will be covered with plants if he doesn't guard it closely! Oh how I would love to have all those windows with all that light!
I would love to bribe mine with a pool table - and then maybe I could acquire more plants but, alas our house is way too small ... absolutely no place to put it.
Wow, your room is beautiful. I love how you arranged all the plants. And the pool table is green, so it fits right in! lol. My husband would make me promise not to do any watering or repotting on it lol.
Karen,
I'd kill for that room! Between the "Billiard Room" and your greenhouse, you truly have the best of both worlds.
Doug
That room is fabulous, Karen! I can see every one of those Hoyas doing the Happy Home Dance!!

Thank you for your nice compliments! Four years ago, we bought this old farm house that was built around 1900 (read family and friends said "you're not buying and/or moving into THAT, are you?") and have been remodeling since. This is one of the last projects! Yea!! Again, thanks for your nice comments!

Karen....dreamy room... The light is terrific!!! And, yes, the floor is beautiful!!

Karen,
That first picture was just too hilarious. When I noticed the pool table in the middle I almost fell off my chair!
That room is spectacular - thanks for sharing, and enjoy!
Gabi
Karen- That was hilarious! You sure got a beautiful room out of the deal! Lucky you!!!!

Karen, great room. Great plants. Very homey and relaxing with the plants. I also love those windows. I'd just about kill for them.
That looks great Karen!
However, I think you misspelled a word in your thread title- you have an extra "V", "I" and "C" in the word "conned"!
Mark - shhh! He still thinks I did a good thing!
