BURRRRR its cold outside

It was 19 degrees at 5:30 AM here in Raleigh. I'm cold .Big honking frost outside looks like a picture instead of reality.
Hope all is well where you are and I am thankful we aren't in the snow storm area.

We only got down to 24 last night - cold enough when I have to get out of bed and go right outside with the dogs in the am! Talk about getting bundled up!

Ya, my cannas sprouted last week, too, including one 6" shoot. Well, at least I know they're coming up in the spring. :)

good to have an optimist around

I have to be an optimist - I just put all my plants in the ground in October..... lol

got a point there!

The two nights in the upper 20's finally killed off the hanger ons like some of my brugs and canna's. It was so warm last week, everything was putting on new growth.
