Thanks guys. Actually, it won't be very festive. Rob got out of hospital yesterday, he was operated on last Wednesday for colon cancer. He's pretty sick. So if you don't see me around here, please understand why.

Thanks everyone for the wishes. He's home and starting to eat a bit. I need to fatten him up before the chemo starts. He's pretty skinny now. Oscar is taking good care of him.

Tell Rob we enjoyed visiting last spring and that we are counting on him to share another BBQ so he better get well soon. Ken volunteers to do the cooking:)

Happy birthday. I wish you and your husband both a speedy recovery, as this has been just as hard on you. I went through this with my husband and all I can say is hang in there, the road ahead does get better. And I will have my fingers crossed for you as well.
