Corkscrew Rush 'Spiralis'
Juncus effusus
When I saw this oversize 14" coffe cup and the rush I knew it was a match made in heaven!

That is a very cute picture. Love the coffee cup! I've grown corkscrew rush before (both a green and also a varigated) and they did very well for me as long as I gave them lots of water.
Perfect match!
Great picture.
I tried to grow it, along side the creek, but I am too shady. I gave it to a friend and it is doing well for her!
Might want to ck. something other than the shade that maybe the problem. This plant is in the shade and does well. Give it another go!
I have some out front and t gets part sun and looks to be doing good, time will tell if it gets to going this spring, mine is planted in a spost that has flooded all winter....
This oversized coffe cup is from Walmart, its about 14". They sold out quickly when I purchased it in early spring a year ago. I noticed last week they had more so I would run if you want one.
Thanks for the great comments. This plant is in the shade and I keep it really wet. In fact I added so much polymer pellets to keep it wet it looked like a volcano when the poly soaked up all the water, it was too funny.
I overwintered it in my greenhouse this year and it still looks great!
Great I'm going to wal mart Fri. I might check them out if I remember :) I do remember your post last year with that cup, I thought it was so cool :)
