Just wanted to introduce my new puppy Keli-roo, she is approx 11 weeks in this photo.
My DH is very allergic to dogs, so we put the idea of adopting a dog out of our minds until we heard about the Australian Labradoodle.
They are now recognized as a breed in Australia, as they have now been bred for enough generations to get consistent results.
This breed was created to fill the requirement as a Therapy dog, traditionally the role of a Labrador. Crossing the breed with a standard poodle till they produced a dog with all the best characteristics of both breeds and does NOT SHED!
She is a wonderful puppy, smart and easy to train, very playful and energetic, but also very easy going and lovable!
I just had to share her with the DG group!
