I'm involved into a disagreeable event with a registry cleaning Software (FreeRegistryFix). I've explained all details in another thread ;
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/795657/
To summarize: as I had and still have continuous problems with this malfunctioning software I'm into a e-mail correspondence with a help-desk person called Colin;
I give here mine and his last e-mail in which I used the blue box of the concerning part) because that's the thing I'm concerned about;
"Hi Colin,
I finally managed to properly download the updated registered version.
The scan showed 453 errors ( don't know why it got stuck the previous time at over 500 errors ??) and it has erased all except 163 under the : 'Recent Files' (medium risk) and 1 under Quick Launch panel links (Low risk) The program doesn't manage to erase these even after repeating 3 times the scanning.
So I'm still stuck with a problem here.

I have done what he asked (I know now that was stupid!)
My question now is by having send this information in an attachment, is it possible that the person can have access to my computer contents ?
Is the firewall sufficient protection in this particular case ?
In the mean while I have erased the FreeRegistryFix map from the Programme map and copied all my passwords to an external hard disk, I have switched off afterwards. Would that be sufficient ?
Thank you for your patience and help in advance!
