Aqua fogger

Evergreen, CO

I need to keep my humidity up this summer. Colorado can be sooooo dry! Has any one used or seen one of these?

I considered an Aqua Fogger, but after talking it over with my younger son, whose greenhouse is a dripping jungle, I decided against it. My well water is very mineral rich so I went with this one:

If your water is fairly free of hard minerals and don't mind the larger water droplets — 35 microns vs 10 - 20 microns for the portable fogger — then the Aqua Fogger may be the better of the two as it can be placed up out of the way. My fogger has to sit on the floor or low shelf.

I have one. It is great, but you can't use hard water in it or it will clog up. Mine is on a thermostat. You need 10-12 feet of clear space, maybe more, because any foliage in the "blast zone" will be wet. Works well, tho.

In my greenhouse, I would have had to place the Aqua Fogger 2 to 4 feet outside the greenhouse.LOL

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking the aqua fogger might be to much fo my 12x20. plus ,I do have very hard well water. I do like the smaller/ finer mist of the Charley brand fogger. I'll keep reseaching. They all seem a little pricey!

Thanks
